[Continue Reading "Grassroots Advocates..."] In the last month, the National Complete Streets Coalition celebrated policy success: Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm signed Public Act 135, directing the Michigan DOT to develop a Complete Streets policy, and the Louisiana DOT adopted a Complete Streets policy developed by a variety of stakeholders late last year. This is an exciting time for the Complete Streets movement.
